I want to play Wii. I have a lot of electronics that require A/V cables in my living room (DVD player, PS2, Wii, etc) and it was always a pain to have to unplug and replug them in the back of the tv. Just turn the dial. This Sony Video selector, while not the prettiest to look at, made the job easy. Whenever I want to watch a dvd or the tv, I turn the dial. Easy. :)I also love that this selector doesn't need to be plugged in and use up another one of my outlets.I guess my only problem with this is that it doesn't exactly go with the "decor", but I put it on a shelf on my entertainment center where there are other wires and game controllers, so it doesn't really matter so much for me.
I bought this so that I could hook up 3 different systems to my TV easily. The real problem with the product is, however, that there is an unmistakable lag between the video and audio. I was not overly concerned with the way the product looked, so i was willing to overlook its obvious design flaws. When it arrived I hooked it up. when wires are coming out of all 4 sides of this thing you realize just how incredibly unpleasant it looks. This is a fault I can not overlook. I was even ok with how bad it looked, but I think I'm going to go back to unplugging my AV cables each time i want to switch systems.I am using this splitter with a Samsung HDTV, and the TV does not have this problem when I am not using the splitter.Spend a little more money and buy a better splitter.
This was a perfect deal. Clear description and a shipment with no problems. Communication was not a problem.
Great little device to switch between inputs. Simple yet does what it needs. Feels a little "flimsy" in design is the only negative.
I bought this a few months ago in order to use both my PS2 and my new XBox 360 on the same TV. Works very well. I love that you can just twist the nob for the system you are using. Perfect for what I needed it for, and not a bad price either.
